Strangford Lough Maritime Festival : Strangford side

On the first weekend of June, the Strangford Lough Maritime Festival was organised in cities situated on both sides of the lake, namely Strangford and Portaferry.
There were activities around the theme of vikings, crafts stalls, storytelling for kids....

A ferry crosses every 30 min Strangford Lough, carrying passengers and vehicles. The trip takes less than 10 minutes. In comparison, the journey Strangford-Portaferry overland by car lasts one and a half hour.
